Blooming Grounds Coffee House in Winona

One of my favorite restaurants in Winona. Delicious pizzas, paninis, and salads (their chicken caesar is a m a z i n g.) Not to mention the coffee and hot tea. So many choices!

No one makes a better craisin bleu chicken salad!

Best coffee shop in Winona! Great place to get work done and enjoy great food. Come for the wifi and stay for the spectacular sandwiches and pizzas. Service always comes with a smile making every experience a positive one.

Cozy, friendly atmosphere and super delicious food. I chose this cafe because of their gluten free salad offerings. Was not disappointed! Will visit again when I'm back on Winona.

Winona is blessed with amazing sandwich shops with great soup, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Great place for both good coffee AND good wine!

I always love going there fast and friendly service and I hope that everyone who shops there thanks all who are working as they too are essential employees as well.

I always read the lowest reviews, but rarely have I ever had similar experiences. The one star review by a former employee was very interesting. I have always have had a good experience. The food has been very good and the drinks I have had have also been good. I like that they support local musicians even though not all the music is what I like, but that is just personal preference.

Real trendy place with a fun coffee shop/sandwich shop vibe. We had wraps for lunch. They were pretty average but the staff and service we great!

Great atmosphere, staff, and food/beverage. We are so lucky to have some of the best local coffee shops right here in Winona. Thank you BG as a whole for being awesome. Everyone always goes above and beyond to satisfy customers here. The owner Amy special ordered one of my favorite teas in for me, perfect example of how much her and her staff cares about customers.

Great downtown location. Always great service. I really like their iced lattes, and for eating, the Super Duper panini is one of my favorites. One of my preferred locations for lunch meetings.

BGs is always amazing. Coffee is great and the Turkey cheddar panini is my favorite!!!

So fortunate to have picked Blooming Grounds as our breakfast spot this morning after camping nearby. Hands down the best breakfast burrito ever—fresh creative ingredients. Friendly staff, wonderful coffee and we couldn’t pass up a delicious blueberry muffin for breakfast dessert!

Great place for sandwiches, soups, salads, wraps. Even had a wine list and some Minnesota beer available. Plenty of seating after expanding, plus some patio spots outside. Great prices and quality ingredients. The Thai peanut chicken wrap is fantastic!

Craft beers AND coffee? Delicious sandwiches for vegans too? YES! Such a nice, fun and welcoming place. So much more than just a coffee shop. Easy to find, inexpensive. Busy during lunch time, but no waiting.

This is a wonderful coffee shop that goes beyond basic and fancy coffee. The have great food and an eclectic little space that wraps the place together nicely.

I would say it's a little too expensive for what you get. But, what you get isn't objectively bad.They have some decent beer on tap and their smoothies and sandwiches are allegedly good.I got a pizza, cost 9 bucks and was a thin crust pizza about the size of a smaller dinner plate. It again wasn't "bad" but I feel like my $9 wasn't that well spent on that. My roommate got a soup and sandwich along with a banana smoothie for about the same price. So I guess maybe I just choose poorly.

Good vibes here! Every second Wed of th e month there is live music. She'll surely play one of your favorites! I.e. Jolene Food orders can get hectic, seating was ok but there were unclean tables that precluded seating in some areas.

The baked goods are irresistible and the service is always amazing. A very cool spot to hangout. A little too crowded and loud to study for my tastes but it definitely works for some people. Great for dates or get togethers with family!

Excellent place for food, coffee, wine, and fun. They have live music on weekends which is great, and are very accommodating to larger groups with their private back room. Highly recommend!

Looking for a quick bite other than your typical fast food option an that had some healthier choices. Ordered their chef salad an did not disappoint. Crisp lettuce with fresh toppings as well. Did not skim on toppings. All in pretty good an reasonably priced for the size of the salad I received to go.

The espresso cake is sooo good! All of the food is good though. They need to have live music more often though!

Great place...truly an asset to our community. Always great coffee and food but they host great events, do a great job with catering, and even made school lunches for kids during the Covid closures.

This place is great! Good food, wine, coffee, staff, ambience. It is my favorite place in town. Do not get the quiche though! It is tasty but hey give you basically half a slice so you will leave hungry. Everything else on the menu is a normal portion.

Terrible every time. Over 20 minutes to get a few sandwiches. Prices don’t match what the menu advertises, when confronted they acknowledge the “mistake” but refuse to adjust. Disrespectful, dirty, and an overall lack of effort. Don’t waste your time and money.

The BEST coffee shop in Winona. And now with multiple locations!!! Then owner is SUPER nice, and she knows how to run a great operation. Please do yourself a favor and enjoy the atmosphere and quality that Blooming Grounds has to offer. You will not be disappointed. Leave the chains behind and enjoy a great cup of coffee and a snack at Blooming Grounds.
